Full Steam Ahead for Procurement

Evolution IP have been appointed to advise and assist the GENuS Consortium in the delivery of its procurement strategy.

Stage 1
Of the strategy has been completed, which involved the drafting of a comprehensive implementation plan to deliver key consortium objectives including:
* Integrating asset management and development programmes
* Delivering effective long term supply chain co-ordination and management
* Increasing partnership working
* Performance management systems
* Continuous improvement in quality and efficiency in procurement
* Effective IT
* Establishing local employment initiatives.

The procurement strategy will also achieve measurable improvements in the following areas:
* Whole life costings and value for money
* Increasing innovation and extending the use of modern methods of construction
* Delivering sustainable developments
* Improving energy efficiency of existing stock.

GENuS has a procurement team working closely with Evolution IP to ensure the strategy is implemented to timescale.
