About GENuS
GENuS is a consortium of four housing associations based in South East Wales who have proved that by working together they can deliver efficiencies in their maintenance and new home building programmes. Melin Homes, Monmouthshire housing, Newport Housing Trust and Seren Group have a great deal of experience of working together and GENuS builds on these successful relationships.
Working as a consortium means that the four partners retain their independence and continue to provide a wide range of housing services to their own customers. However, collaboration has improved quality and efficiency which benefits all service users.
The GENuS partners share a belief that local development and management of affordable homes is the best way of meeting the needs of communities. The consortium values its excellent working relationships with Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmounth, Newport, Powys and Torfaen local authorities and will continue to work closely with them and local suppliers and contractors to develop and maintain homes in a way which benefits local communities.
